Spanish police have launched an involuntary manslaughter investigation following the death of 30-year-old Tenerife forward Jesus de Miguel. De Miguel suffered cardiac arrest after a collision with Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono during a second-division match on Monday. Although his pulse was initially restored, his condition worsened neurologically, and he passed away Tuesday morning. The incident occurred during added time, and the match was abandoned. Owono received a red card for the collision.
