Congress Slams PM Modi Over Rising Inflation Ahead of Diwali Festival

The Congress party has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the significant rise in food prices ahead of the Diwali festival. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh highlighted that the prices of essential items like onions have surged by 85% and sugar by 34% over the last four months. He also noted increases in tomatoes, arhar dal, and chana dal, along with dry fruits like almonds and cardamom.

कांग्रेस पार्टी ने दिवाली के त्यौहार से ठीक पहले खाने-पीने की चीजों के दाम में हुई भारी बढ़ोतरी को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की आलोचना की है। कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने बताया कि पिछले चार महीनों में प्याज के दाम 85% और चीनी के दाम 34% बढ़ गए हैं। उन्होंने टमाटर, अरहर दाल और चना दाल के साथ-साथ बादाम और इलायची जैसे मेवों के दाम में भी बढ़ोतरी का जिक्र किया।
