People rushed to catch a glimpse of the artists, causing the crowd to become uncontrollable and creating a stampede-like situation. Police were forced to resort to a lathi charge to manage the situation. The bamboo barricading at the venue broke due to the immense pressure from the crowd. While fire brigade personnel were also deployed, the situation deteriorated. No injuries have been officially reported so far.
