Yamaha has announced its withdrawal of its MotoGP team from the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix, citing the ongoing "situation in the Middle East." The Japanese manufacturer stated that it has not found sufficient grounds to alter its existing company-wide travel restrictions. The MotoGP Group expressed disappointment, noting that Yamaha's absence carries sporting implications and does not align with assurances provided to stakeholders. The event is scheduled to proceed from November 6-8 at the Lusail International Circuit, with other teams confirmed to compete.
