India's Pralay Missile Completes User Validation Trial, Nears Induction

India has moved closer to inducting its indigenously developed Pralay quasi-ballistic missile into the armed forces after successfully completing a fresh user validation trial. Developed by DRDO, the tactical short-range missile demonstrated its operational readiness and precision-strike capabilities from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. The missile accurately followed its trajectory, performed mid-air manoeuvres, and achieved hit-to-kill accuracy, meeting all mission objectives. This successful test validates the missile's performance under user evaluation, paving the way for its imminent induction.
