Ganjam MP Urges CM to Prioritize Local Youth Recruitment in Industrial Units

Berhampur MP Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy has urged Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to direct industrial units in Ganjam to prioritize hiring local youths. He highlighted that out of 450 local youths who applied for a solar unit in Gopalpur, only 43 were selected for lower-grade jobs, with others rejected due to lack of experience. Panigrahy demanded relaxation of experience criteria and on-the-job training, advocating for fresh, transparent recruitment and adherence to state industrial policy. The solar unit, Saatvik Solar Industries, is set to establish a 3.6 GW facility.

बेरहमपुर के सांसद प्रदीप कुमार पाणिग्रही ने मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माझी से गंजम की औद्योगिक इकाइयों को स्थानीय युवाओं को प्राथमिकता से काम पर रखने का निर्देश देने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि गोपालपुर में एक सोलर यूनिट के लिए आवेदन करने वाले 450 स्थानीय युवाओं में से केवल 43 को निम्न-श्रेणी की नौकरियों के लिए चुना गया, जबकि अन्य को अनुभव की कमी के कारण अस्वीकार कर दिया गया। पाणिग्रही ने अनुभव मानदंडों में ढील और ऑन-द-जॉब प्रशिक्षण की मांग की, साथ ही नई, पारदर्शी भर्ती और राज्य की औद्योगिक नीति के पालन की वकालत की। सोलर यूनिट, Saatvik Solar Industries, 3.6 GW की सुविधा स्थापित करने वाली है।
