This achievement provides a crucial financial cushion amidst higher fuel and fertiliser subsidy burdens. The total includes Rs 55,757 crore from share sales, notably the LIC offer, and Rs 6,367 crore from asset monetisation. Strong dividend flows from the RBI and banks, along with robust direct and indirect tax collections, further bolster the government's revenue situation.
