Delhi HC to Hear Pleas by CJP Leaders and AISA President Urgently

The Delhi High Court has agreed to urgently hear pleas from Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka challenging their judicial custody extension. Justice Subramonium Prasad will also address a petition by AISA president Neha Bora concerning a Delhi Police notice. Bora was asked to execute a bond for "keeping peace" after preventive detention. Das and Ranka are contesting their remand following alleged trespassing at Jantar Mantar and displaying the national flag. The CJP alleges deliberate delays in bail proceedings.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के नेताओं सौरव दास और आशुतोष रंका की न्यायिक हिरासत बढ़ाने को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर तत्काल सुनवाई के लिए सहमति दे दी है। जस्टिस सुब्रमण्यम प्रसाद दिल्ली पुलिस के नोटिस के संबंध में एआईएसए अध्यक्ष नेहा बोहरा की याचिका पर भी सुनवाई करेंगे। बोहरा से 'शांति बनाए रखने' के लिए एक बांड निष्पादित करने को कहा गया था, वह भी निवारक हिरासत के बाद। दास और रंका जंतर-मंतर पर कथित अतिक्रमण और राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराने के बाद अपनी रिमांड को चुनौती दे रहे हैं। सीजेपी का आरोप है कि जमानत की कार्यवाही में जानबूझकर देरी की जा रही है।
