India's preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games are in disarray with less than a week remaining. Athletes in para shooting, cycling, badminton, table tennis, and boccia face uncertainty due to selection disputes, coaching omissions, and administrative delays. Nine para shooters protested the exclusion of their chief coach, J P Nautiyal, expressing apprehension about competing without him. While most disciplines have now been cleared, pending court cases and last-minute approvals continue to cause significant disruption for athletes.
