Two government employees and close friends, Vakil Yadav and Vinay Yadav, both 35, were found murdered with a sharp-edged weapon near Badhaya Hardo village in Deoria district. They had left home to attend a Dussehra fair in Lar before being attacked. Police discovered their bodies around 12:30 am on Wednesday, with multiple stab wounds indicating a brutal assault. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and call records to identify the accused, and three teams have been formed to trace them.
