Strengthen Village Administration Post Local Body Polls

The Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Chamber vice president stated that the government can strengthen village administration following local body polls. He alleged the previous YSRCP government misused approximately ₹8,300 crore in funds from the 15th Finance Commission meant for village development. These funds were reportedly diverted for unproductive purposes, leaving panchayats unaware of their allocations. He expressed hope that the TDP and its allies would win over 95% of seats in the upcoming elections, ensuring proper governance.
