The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken cognisance of allegations that minors were involved in a protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Mumbai. Complaints cited online posts showing a child with the National Flag and a placard, raising concerns about child exploitation. The NHRC has directed Mumbai Police to investigate how children became involved and the roles of organisers and adults. It also asked X Corp to preserve digital evidence and MeitY to examine compliance with child safety regulations.
