Paramount has finalized its $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery, settling lawsuits with US states and the Writers Guild of America. To secure the deal, Paramount agreed to temporary film quotas, pledging to spend $300 million more annually on US film production and release 30-32 movies yearly for five years. The company also committed to not raising theater operator rates for three years and establishing a news oversight committee.
