India's Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai have clinched the gold medal in the trap mixed team event at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The duo set a new Asian Record with a score of 34, surpassing Qatar's previous record of 30. This victory marks India's first-ever gold medal in this discipline at the Asian Games. It is also Neeru's second gold of the Games, following her historic win in the women's individual trap event.
