India, China Hold Frank Border Talks

India and China engaged in candid discussions concerning border conditions and the current situation along the Line of Actual Control. New Delhi emphasized the importance of maintaining peace for the progress of bilateral ties. India also pushed for an early meeting of the expert committee on trans-border rivers, especially following China's announcement of a major upstream dam project.

भारत और चीन ने सीमाई हालात और एलएसी (Line of Actual Control) पर मौजूदा स्थिति को लेकर खुलकर बातचीत की। नई दिल्ली ने दोनों देशों के रिश्तों को बेहतर बनाने के लिए शांति बनाए रखने पर ज़ोर दिया। भारत ने ट्रांस-बॉर्डर नदियों पर बनी विशेषज्ञ समिति की जल्द बैठक की भी मांग की, खासकर चीन द्वारा एक बड़े अपस्ट्रीम बांध परियोजना की घोषणा के बाद।
