This donation adds to a significant network of approximately 1,300 acres of preserved land in the area. The farm features mature oak and hickory woodlands, providing crucial habitat for wildlife such as turkeys, bats, and hundreds of caterpillar species. Additionally, its open pasture areas offer benefits to grassland birds, contributing to a vital ecological corridor.
