Uttar Pradesh, India's top sugarcane and ethanol producer, is attracting significant investments in its downstream supply chain, including distilleries. A private investment pipeline exceeding ₹1,000 crore is in place, with companies like ABD establishing new units. ABD is investing ₹600 crore for expansion, including a new greenfield distillery. This growth is supported by UP's progressive excise policy and a conducive business environment, boosting the sugarcane value chain and benefiting approximately 5 million farmer households.

भारत का सबसे बड़ा गन्ना और इथेनॉल उत्पादक, उत्तर प्रदेश, डिस्टिलरी सहित अपनी सप्लाई चेन में बड़े निवेश को आकर्षित कर रहा है। ₹1,000 करोड़ से ज़्यादा का प्राइवेट निवेश पाइपलाइन तैयार है, जिसमें ABD जैसी कंपनियाँ नई यूनिट्स लगा रही हैं। ABD नई ग्रीनफील्ड डिस्टिलरी सहित विस्तार के लिए ₹600 करोड़ का निवेश कर रही है। यह विकास UP की प्रगतिशील आबकारी नीति और अनुकूल कारोबारी माहौल से समर्थित है, जिससे गन्ने की वैल्यू चेन को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है और लगभग 50 लाख किसान परिवारों को फायदा हो रहा है।
