Jalgaon police have successfully disposed of narcotics valued at Rs 65.7 crore, seized during two separate operations. The contraband, including over 43 kg of amphetamine and 884 grams of methaqualone, was transported under heavy security to Pune for destruction. This process, conducted under the guidance of SP Srikant Dhivare, strictly adheres to the NDPS Act to prevent illicit resale or re-entry into the market. The destruction utilizes controlled high temperatures in an industrial furnace, ensuring no environmental harm. This action underscores the police's commitment to combating drug trafficking.

जलगांव पुलिस ने दो अलग-अलग ऑपरेशनों में जब्त की गई 65.7 करोड़ रुपये की नशीली दवाओं को सफलतापूर्वक नष्ट कर दिया है। 43 किलोग्राम से अधिक एम्फ़ैटेमिन और 884 ग्राम मेथाक्वॉलोन सहित जब्त की गई सामग्री को भारी सुरक्षा के बीच नष्ट करने के लिए पुणे ले जाया गया। एसपी श्रीकांत धिवारे के मार्गदर्शन में की गई इस प्रक्रिया में अवैध पुनर्विक्रय या बाजार में पुनः प्रवेश को रोकने के लिए NDPS अधिनियम का कड़ाई से पालन किया जाता है। विनाश के लिए औद्योगिक भट्टी में नियंत्रित उच्च तापमान का उपयोग किया जाता है, जिससे पर्यावरण को कोई नुकसान नहीं होता है। यह कार्रवाई नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी से निपटने की पुलिस की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करती है।
