Anupam Kher Diagnosed With Manic Depression

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has revealed he was diagnosed with manic depression around 10-12 years ago following a period of sleepless nights. Despite professional success, including his book becoming a bestseller, Kher struggled with sleep, leading an eye doctor to suggest psychiatric help. He recounted meeting a psychiatrist, initially trying to solve the doctor's problems before receiving his diagnosis. Kher was told his optimism was a problem, as he tended to push through difficult phases. This experience has encouraged him to speak openly about mental health.

अनुपम खेर ने बताया कि करीब 10-12 साल पहले उन्हें मैनिक डिप्रेशन का पता चला था। कई रातों की नींद न आने के बाद, एक आई डॉक्टर ने उन्हें साइकियाट्रिस्ट से मिलने की सलाह दी। खेर ने बताया कि कैसे उन्होंने पहले डॉक्टर की समस्या सुलझाने की कोशिश की, फिर उन्हें अपनी बीमारी का पता चला। डॉक्टर ने कहा कि उनकी उम्मीद से ज्यादा खुश रहने की आदत भी एक समस्या है।
