Cabinet Approves ₹24,815 Crore Rail Projects in UP

The Union Cabinet has approved two multi-tracking railway projects worth ₹24,815 crore, spanning 15 districts across Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. In UP, the Ghaziabad-Sitapur third and fourth lines, costing ₹14,926 crore, will add 403 km to the network, aiming to ease congestion on a high-density route. In Andhra Pradesh, the Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam third and fourth lines will cover 198 km at a cost of ₹9,889 crore.

कैबिनेट ने उत्तर प्रदेश और आंध्र प्रदेश के 15 जिलों में ₹24,815 करोड़ की दो मल्टी-ट्रैकिंग रेलवे परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दे दी है। उत्तर प्रदेश में, ₹14,926 करोड़ की गाजियाबाद- सीतापुर तीसरी और चौथी लाइन से 403 किमी नेटवर्क बढ़ेगा, जिससे व्यस्त रूट पर भीड़ कम होगी। आंध्र प्रदेश में, राजमुंदरी-विशाखापत्तनम तीसरी और चौथी लाइन ₹9,889 करोड़ में 198 किमी तक फैलेगी।
