Times of India · entertainment

Martha Stewart has blamed 'Today' show host Craig Melvin for her controversial homeless Halloween costume. Stewart stated that Melvin spilled chocolate on the sweater she intended to wear, leaving it unusable. With only ten minutes to spare, she opted for a "bum" costume, which she later described as looking "hungry and homeless." The outfit drew significant backlash for insensitivity, prompting Stewart to issue multiple apologies and express regret for offending people. She emphasized her commitment to combating homelessness, despite the costume's unintended consequences.
