Prime Video has renewed Mike Flanagan's horror series Carrie for a second season, following its successful debut which topped streaming charts in over 105 countries. The series, based on Stephen King's novel, will explore Carrie White's story beyond the infamous prom night, a narrative direction showrunner Mike Flanagan envisioned from the start. Stephen King, also an executive producer, expressed excitement for the continuation. The first season concluded on a cliffhanger, with Carrie surviving and potentially encountering others with psychic abilities, setting the stage for a broader narrative.
