Producer Namit Malhotra, currently working on the "Ramayana" cinematic universe, was asked about a potential collaboration with director SS Rajamouli for "Mahabharat." While Malhotra did not confirm the project, he responded positively, stating Rajamouli is a great director and expressing hope for Indian cinema's success. He also mentioned that "Ramayana" Part 2 is slated for a Diwali 2027 release.
