Stalin Expresses Relief Periyar Arivulagam Nearing Completion Before Govt Change

DMK president M K Stalin expressed relief that the Periyar Arivulagam and Science Centre was almost complete before the current government took over, fearing it might have been shelved. He noted that 99.75 per cent of the work on the library, named after Thanthai Periyar, is finished. Stalin visited the newly inaugurated facility and wished for more such libraries statewide. He also highlighted past DMK initiatives like the Anna Centenary Library and Kalaignar Centenary Library, urging students to visit the Periyar Arivulagam to learn about the Dravidian movement.

DMK अध्यक्ष एम. के. स्टालिन ने राहत जताई कि पेरियार अरिवुलगम और विज्ञान केंद्र मौजूदा सरकार के कार्यभार संभालने से पहले लगभग पूरा हो गया था, क्योंकि उन्हें डर था कि इसे रोक दिया जा सकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि थानथाई पेरियार के नाम पर बनी लाइब्रेरी का 99.75 प्रतिशत काम पूरा हो चुका है। स्टालिन ने नव-उद्घाटन की गई सुविधा का दौरा किया और पूरे राज्य में ऐसी और अधिक लाइब्रेरी की कामना की। उन्होंने अन्ना शताब्दी लाइब्रेरी और कलैग्नार शताब्दी लाइब्रेरी जैसी पिछली DMK पहलों पर भी प्रकाश डाला, और छात्रों से द्रविड़ आंदोलन के बारे में जानने के लिए पेरियार अरिवुलगम का दौरा करने का आग्रह किया।
