Industrialist Veeramani Sexual Abuse Case: SIT to Seek Passport Impoundment of Aide

SIT probing industrialist R Veeramani's alleged sexual assaults is seeking to impound the passport of Prakash, a key accused believed to be in the UK. Prakash allegedly assisted Veeramani in evading arrest and was involved in financial transactions. A lookout circular has been issued against five accused to prevent overseas escape. The SIT is also investigating the sale of Veeramani's properties worth over ₹70 crore, which coincided with a police closure report. Veeramani's daughter, Archana, was detained before her departure to Singapore.
