Medieval House Reveals 800 Years of History

Restoration work at Dunstable's Priory House has uncovered eight centuries of hidden history, including nationally important wall paintings and sealed medieval doorways. Scientific tests confirm the building's origins in the early 13th century as part of Dunstable Priory. Protective symbols, known as witch marks, were found carved into old timber and stonework.

डंस्टेबल के प्राइरी हाउस में जीर्णोद्धार के काम से आठ शताब्दियों का छिपा इतिहास सामने आया है। इसमें राष्ट्रीय महत्व की दीवार पेंटिंग और मध्ययुगीन दरवाजे मिले हैं। वैज्ञानिक परीक्षणों से पता चला है कि यह इमारत 13वीं सदी की शुरुआत में डंस्टेबल प्राइरी का हिस्सा थी। पुरानी लकड़ी और पत्थर पर "विच मार्क्स" जैसे सुरक्षात्मक प्रतीक भी मिले हैं।
