Lawyers Protest at SRN Hospital, Demand Doctor's Arrest

Lawyers demonstrated at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj on Monday, blocking a road to demand the arrest of a doctor accused of misbehaving with a lawyer. The protest ended after police assured action. A delegation will meet officers Tuesday for updates on the FIR. Meanwhile, resident doctors seek safety measures and action against those who allegedly assaulted them. The Allahabad High Court Bar Association has also appealed to the UP chief minister regarding the incident and conditions at SRN Hospital.

प्रयागराज में सोमवार को स्वरूप रानी नेहरू हॉस्पिटल में वकीलों ने प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने एक वकील से कथित दुर्व्यवहार के आरोपी डॉक्टर की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर सड़क जाम कर दी। पुलिस द्वारा कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिए जाने के बाद विरोध प्रदर्शन समाप्त हो गया। एफआईआर पर अपडेट के लिए एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल मंगलवार को अधिकारियों से मिलेगा। इस बीच, रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर सुरक्षा उपायों और कथित तौर पर उन पर हमला करने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं। इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन ने भी इस घटना और एसआरएन हॉस्पिटल की स्थिति के संबंध में उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री से अपील की है।
