Pranay Murder Case Convict Dies in Jail

Abdul Bari, a life-sentence convict in the 2018 Pranay Kumar murder case, died in Cherlapally jail on Thursday. He complained of chest pain and was taken to Gandhi Hospital, where he passed away during treatment. Bari was accused number four in the case, sentenced to life imprisonment by a Nalgonda court in March 2025. Pranay was killed in September 2018 after an inter-caste marriage. His father-in-law allegedly arranged the murder for ₹1 crore.

चेरलापल्ली जेल में 2018 के प्रणय कुमार हत्याकांड के आजीवन कारावास की सज़ा काट रहे अब्दुल बारी की गुरुवार को मौत हो गई। सीने में दर्द की शिकायत के बाद उन्हें गांधी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ इलाज के दौरान उनकी जान चली गई। बारी इस मामले में चौथा आरोपी था, जिसे मार्च 2025 में नालगोंडा कोर्ट ने उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई थी।
