Kozhikode Officials Asked For Innovative Development Ideas

The District Development Committee in Kozhikode has urged government department heads to propose innovative ideas and new project proposals for greater public benefit. District Collector M.S. Madhavikutty emphasized the need for practical, inter-departmental projects. MLAs raised concerns about delays in crucial infrastructure projects like the Perincherikkadavu regulator-cum-bridge and National Highway construction, highlighting issues like saline water intrusion and commuter hardship. The committee also reviewed progress on land distribution, safety measures, and projects linked to the Nava Kerala Sadas.

कोझिकोड की जिला विकास समिति ने सरकारी विभागों से कहा है कि वे जनता के फायदे के लिए नए और अनोखे प्रोजेक्ट आइडिया दें। डिस्ट्रिक्ट कलेक्टर एम.एस. माधवीकुट्टी ने कहा कि ऐसे प्रोजेक्ट्स होने चाहिए जो अलग-अलग विभागों के मिलकर काम करने से पूरे हों। विधायकों ने पेरिंचेरिकडावु रेगुलेटर-सह-ब्रिज और नेशनल हाईवे जैसे जरूरी प्रोजेक्ट्स में देरी पर चिंता जताई। उन्होंने खारे पानी की घुसपैठ और लोगों की परेशानी का भी जिक्र किया। समिति ने जमीन वितरण और सुरक्षा उपायों की भी समीक्षा की।
