Union Bank Profit Surges Over 27% In Q1

Union Bank of India reported a significant 27.5% rise in net profit for the June quarter, reaching Rs 5,641 crore. The bank saw an increase in net interest income and improved margins. It also attracted overseas deposits from Australia and UAE via an RBI window, boosting both global and domestic deposits, including low-cost CASA deposits.

यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया का जून तिमाही में नेट प्रॉफिट 27.5% बढ़कर 5,641 करोड़ रुपये हो गया। बैंक की नेट इंटरेस्ट इनकम बढ़ी और मार्जिन में भी सुधार हुआ। आरबीआई की एक विंडो के जरिए ऑस्ट्रेलिया और यूएई से विदेशी डिपॉजिट भी आए, जिससे ग्लोबल और डोमेस्टिक डिपॉजिट, खासकर कम लागत वाले CASA डिपॉजिट में बढ़ोतरी हुई।
