Assam: Explosion at Oil India Facility Injures Five Workers, One Missing

A significant explosion and fire occurred at OIL Intermediate Tank Farm in Tengakhat, Dibrugarh, Assam on Friday. The incident happened while workers were operating a valve in the crude oil storage section. Five workers, identified as employees of Spectron Engineers Private Limited, sustained serious injuries and are in critical condition at Assam Medical College and Hospital. Another worker is reported missing following the blast. The exact number of casualties and the cause of the explosion are still under investigation.
