Opposition Marches to Rajghat on 3rd Day of CEC Protest; Rahul Gandhi Vows Stir Won't

Times of India · politics

Opposition MPs protested against alleged "vote chori" for the third consecutive day, gathering at Rajghat to pray for "better sense" to Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated the BJP government is "snatching away our right to vote." Rahul Gandhi asserted that the ongoing protests, which have seen opposition members meet for lunch and march with flags, will not cease. The opposition is awaiting an appointment with the President and may march to Rashtrapati Bhavan if one is not granted.
