Quad Summit To Be Held On Sidelines Of Asean Meet In Philippines

The next Quad Summit will take place on the margins of the Asean Summit in the Philippines next month. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed the meeting, expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders from the US, Australia, and Japan. The summit is scheduled to occur during the Asean Summit on November 16-17 in Manila. Rubio also addressed US-Pakistan relations, stating the US opposes terrorism but must maintain ties with Pakistan due to its nuclear capabilities and geographic importance.
