The Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department is implementing a merit-based selection process for temple Vedic staff and priests. Candidates will be chosen through written and oral examinations to ensure rituals are performed according to tradition. The department aims to fill 344 Vedic staff posts statewide. In the first phase, 14 candidates were appointed, and the second phase for 107 archaka posts is now underway, with written exams based on Agamas commencing.

आंध्र प्रदेश एंडोमेंट्स डिपार्टमेंट मंदिर के वैदिक कर्मचारियों और पुजारियों के लिए मेरिट-आधारित चयन प्रक्रिया लागू कर रहा है। उम्मीदवारों को लिखित और मौखिक परीक्षाओं के ज़रिए चुना जाएगा ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि अनुष्ठान परंपरा के अनुसार किए जाएं। विभाग का लक्ष्य पूरे राज्य में 344 वैदिक कर्मचारियों के पदों को भरना है। पहले चरण में 14 उम्मीदवारों की नियुक्ति की गई थी, और अब 107 अर्चक पदों के लिए दूसरा चरण चल रहा है, जिसमें आगमों पर आधारित लिखित परीक्षाएं शुरू हो गई हैं।
