A 17-year-old girl in Bihar's Vaishali district has attracted significant crowds during Durga Puja by performing an unusual religious ritual. Nisha Kumari lies on a specially constructed bed of nails, approximately 35 kg of metal, with a kalash on her chest and a sword in hand, dressed as Goddess Kali. Her family states she feels no pain and claims the ritual is a test of faith inspired by a dream.
