The Shiv Sena has distributed Diwali faral kits at a nominal price of Rs 10 to nearly 4,000 people in Ambarnath, Mumbai. This annual initiative, now in its 18th year, aims to help economically weaker families prepare traditional festive delicacies despite rising prices. Each kit, valued at Rs 391, contains essential ingredients like rava, maida, sugar, and oil. Organised by Shiv Sena city chief Arvind Walekar, the program ensures that financially disadvantaged families can celebrate Diwali without concern for the cost of essential food items.
