Dutch combat sports veteran Alistair Overeem has been training with Anthony Joshua in Dubai as he considers a boxing comeback. Overeem, who retired in October 2023 after a 25-year career, spent time with Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk's training camps. He has been impressed by Joshua's mental strength and believes he will defeat Tyson Fury. Overeem's potential return could include a fight against kickboxing rival Rico Verhoeven.
