Depression Near Myanmar Weakens, Expected to Affect Weather in India's Northeast

A depression over coastal Myanmar and the Northeast Bay of Bengal has weakened and is moving north-northwest. IMD reported it was moving at 13 kmph and is expected to further weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area within 12 hours. The system is likely to continue moving towards southeast Bangladesh and Myanmar, potentially impacting Mizoram and Tripura. The Bay of Bengal region may also experience weather changes, with chances of rain in parts of Andaman and Nicobar and coastal West Bengal.
