Artificial intelligence company OpenAI has disclosed that its AI tools posted user-uploaded images from ChatGPT to online sites without authorization. The company identified 53 instances where image links were shared with third-party websites, though most were not publicly listed. OpenAI stated these images were from accounts allowing data use for model improvement and were filtered for privacy. The company has removed most of the leaked content and is working to eliminate the rest. This incident occurred before new safeguards were implemented over a month ago.
