The BJP has criticised SpaceX founder Elon Musk for his remarks on India's spectrum allocation policy. Party vice-president Ram Madhav questioned Rahul Gandhi's exchange with Musk, calling him 'surrender' Gandhi and questioning his shift in stance. Madhav asserted that India has a transparent, non-discriminatory system for spectrum allocation, unlike the UPA regime. Former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar added that satellite communication licensees are undergoing security clearance, highlighting potential security risks from satellite VoIP and encryption.

बीजेपी ने स्पेसएक्स के संस्थापक एलन मस्क की भारत की स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन नीति पर की गई टिप्पणियों की आलोचना की है। पार्टी के उपाध्यक्ष राम माधव ने राहुल गांधी और मस्क के बीच हुई बातचीत पर सवाल उठाया, उन्हें 'सरेंडर' गांधी कहा और उनके रुख में बदलाव पर सवाल उठाया। माधव ने जोर देकर कहा कि भारत में स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन के लिए एक पारदर्शी, गैर-भेदभावपूर्ण प्रणाली है, जो यूपीए शासन के विपरीत है। पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री राजीव चंद्रशेखर ने कहा कि सैटेलाइट संचार लाइसेंसधारियों को सुरक्षा मंजूरी दी जा रही है, और सैटेलाइट वीओआईपी और एन्क्रिप्शन से संभावित सुरक्षा जोखिमों पर प्रकाश डाला।
