Craig Carton Accuses WNBA Teams of Disrespecting America

Times of India · sports

TV host Craig Carton has criticized the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries for leaving the court during the US national anthem before Game 1 of the WNBA Finals. Carton accused the teams of disrespecting America and questioned their absence during the song, suggesting it was a coordinated effort. He also targeted Angel Reese for her performance in the game. However, leaving the court during the anthem is a practice many WNBA teams have followed for at least six seasons, sometimes to highlight social justice issues.
