As Pargat Singh assumes charge as the new Punjab Congress president, outgoing chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring has strongly advocated for the inclusion of young grassroots workers in ticket distribution for the 2027 assembly elections. Warring emphasized that these dedicated workers have supported the party through difficult times and deserve recognition and opportunities. He recalled his previous efforts to reserve 50% of tickets for youngsters and implement the Udaipur Declaration's principles. Both Sachin Pilot and Pargat Singh assured that hard work and merit would be considered in candidate selection.
