Man Poses As Suitor, Steals Earrings Worth Rs35k

A Pune woman has filed a complaint alleging a man she met on a matrimonial site stole her gold earrings worth Rs35,500. The man, who claimed to own businesses and hailed from Mahabaleshwar, met the woman after two months of online communication. During their meeting at a mall, he asked to see her earrings and smartwatch, claiming a goldsmith friend was downstairs. He then fled with the jewellery, later blocking her number. The woman discovered the gold chain he gifted her was also fake.

पुणे की एक महिला ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई है कि मैट्रिमोनियल साइट पर मिले एक आदमी ने उसके 35,500 रुपये के सोने के झुमके चुरा लिए। यह आदमी, जो खुद को महाबलेश्वर का व्यवसायी बताता था, दो महीने ऑनलाइन बात करने के बाद महिला से मिला। मॉल में मिलने के दौरान उसने महिला से उसके झुमके और स्मार्टवॉच देखने को मांगी, यह कहकर कि उसका एक सुनार दोस्त नीचे है। इसके बाद वह गहने लेकर भाग गया और बाद में उसका नंबर ब्लॉक कर दिया। महिला को पता चला कि उसने जो सोने की चेन उसे तोहफे में दी थी, वह भी नकली थी।
