Mercury Finance, a unit of India's Shapoorji Pallonji Group, is raising $125 million by reopening its zero-coupon dollar bonds maturing in July 2029. The company has the option to redeem these bonds after one year. The real estate conglomerate intends to use these funds to invest in rupee-denominated bonds issued by another local group entity. This move follows a similar fundraising effort in July, where Mercury Finance raised $650 million. The funds will help meet payment obligations for another subsidiary, Porteast Investment.
