Kerala Transport Minister C.P. John stated that the Priyadarshini free travel scheme for women has significantly improved the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's public connection. Celebrating 100 days of the scheme, he noted that women's savings boost the state's economy. Future plans include KSRTC entering freight transport by leasing trucks for port and highway projects, expanding budget tourism with Water Metro, and arranging additional buses for Sabarimala.

केरल परिवहन मंत्री ने महिलाओं की मुफ्त यात्रा योजना की सराहना की

केरल के परिवहन मंत्री सी.पी. जॉन ने कहा कि महिलाओं के लिए 'प्रियदर्शनी' मुफ्त यात्रा योजना से केरल स्टेट रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन (KSRTC) का लोगों से जुड़ाव काफी बढ़ा है। योजना के 100 दिन पूरे होने पर उन्होंने बताया कि महिलाओं की बचत से राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को भी फायदा हो रहा है। भविष्य में KSRTC ट्रकों को लीज पर लेकर माल ढुलाई में उतरेगा, वाटर मेट्रो से बजट टूरिज्म बढ़ाएगा और सबरीमाला के लिए अतिरिक्त बसें भी चलाएगा।
