Home Secretary Asks Cops Nationwide To Share Intel Ahead Of CJP Protest

Hindustan Times · politics

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan has urged police chiefs across India to share intelligence and coordinate with Delhi Police regarding a protest march planned by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on October 10. Despite being denied permission, the CJP and its supporters reportedly intend to defy orders and enter Delhi, potentially disrupting public peace. The CJP has a history of non-compliance, leading to property damage and law and order issues in past events. Delhi Police cited rule violations and late notification for denying permission for the planned demonstration.
