Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan stated on Friday that no complaints have been filed in the state regarding the deliberate denial of voting rights. He acknowledged that the UDF raised concerns about transparency and procedure simplification during the Special Intensive Revision, which were communicated to the Election Commission. The Chief Minister attributed voter list removals to absent, dead, or relocated individuals, contrasting Kerala's situation with states like Maharashtra and West Bengal. He also clarified that Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge did not demand the dissolution of assemblies, calling elections illegal.
