France Sends Troops To Guard Saudi Oil Port

France will send soldiers, radars, and defence systems to the Red Sea port of Yanbu to protect major oil storage and refining facilities. This comes as Saudi Arabia's allies rally support amid escalating Houthi rebel attacks. Saudi officials are also meeting with counterparts from Pakistan and Turkiye to discuss mutual defence pact options. The Houthis have repeatedly targeted Saudi oil infrastructure, disrupting exports. The move aims to safeguard vital energy infrastructure without direct involvement in the conflict.
