Jharkhand Station Operates Without Ticket Clerks

Mahadeolsal Halt in Jharkhand's Chakradharpur railway division operates without permanent ticket booking clerks, despite having a ticket counter. Six trains stop daily, with hundreds of passengers boarding, but they cannot purchase tickets due to the absence of staff. The station, built in 2016 at a cost of approximately ₹4 crore, is primarily an operating halt and not a commercial stop. Temporary counters are set up during the Shravani Mela for pilgrims visiting a nearby ancient Shiva temple.

झारखंड के चक्रधरपुर रेलवे डिवीज़न में महादेओसल हॉल्ट पर टिकट काउंटर तो है, पर स्थायी क्लर्क नहीं हैं। रोज़ाना छह ट्रेनें रुकती हैं और सैकड़ों यात्री चढ़ते हैं, लेकिन टिकट नहीं खरीद पाते। 2016 में करीब 4 करोड़ रुपये में बना यह स्टेशन मुख्य रूप से संचालन के लिए है, न कि कमाई के लिए। श्रावणी मेले के दौरान पास के शिव मंदिर जाने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के लिए अस्थायी काउंटर लगते हैं।
