Bihar Minister Orders Expedited Construction of Emporium at Bodh Gaya

Bihar's Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar has directed officials to speed up the construction of an emporium in Bodh Gaya. The emporium aims to promote products made by women associated with Jeevika self-help groups by showcasing local handicrafts and rural products to tourists. The minister also called for expanding goat-rearing, setting up milk outlets, and strengthening marketing linkages for rural products. Additionally, plans are underway to include eligible families left out of the Awaas Plus 2.0 initiative and accelerate the construction of anganwadi centres.

बिहार के ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री श्रवण कुमार ने अधिकारियों को बोधगया में एक एम्पोरियम के निर्माण में तेजी लाने का निर्देश दिया है। इस एम्पोरियम का उद्देश्य जीविका स्वयं सहायता समूहों से जुड़ी महिलाओं द्वारा बनाए गए उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देना है, जिसमें स्थानीय हस्तशिल्प और ग्रामीण उत्पादों को पर्यटकों के सामने प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा। मंत्री ने बकरी पालन का विस्तार करने, दूध की दुकानें स्थापित करने और ग्रामीण उत्पादों के लिए विपणन संपर्क को मजबूत करने का भी आह्वान किया। इसके अतिरिक्त, आवास प्लस 2.0 पहल से छूटे हुए योग्य परिवारों को शामिल करने और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों के निर्माण में तेजी लाने की योजनाएं भी चल रही हैं।
